WALLACE, Matthew Ernest – 21, Antigonish Harbour, died March 18, 1994, at home. Born in Antigonish, he was a son of Douglas Wallace, Musquodoboit Harbour and Karen (Adams) Mahoney, Antigonish Harbour. He was a 1992 graduate of the Dr. John Hugh Gillis Regional High School, Antigonish. He was a construction worker and a self employed woodsman. He was a member of the Draught Horses Association and the Rocky MacDougall Lakeside Boxing Club. He is survived by sister, Claire, at home; half-sister, Ashley, Ottawa; half-brother, Bryden, Ottawa; stepfather, Edward Mahoney; stepmother, Patricia Wallace; two stepbrothers, Edward Mahoney, Derek Mahoney, both of Halifax; two stepsisters, Deborah Mahoney, Waterville; Jennifer Mahoney, at home; maternal grandparents, Alex and Ella Adams, Cape George. He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Frank and Helen Wallace. Funeral will be 2:30 p.m. today in St. James United Church, Antigonish, Rev. Glenn Ashford officiating. Burial will be in St. David’s United Church Cemetery, Cape George. Donations may be made to St. David’s United Church. Arrangements are under the direction of MacIsaac Funeral Home, Antigonish.
