**shortened information – long obituary. Mrs. W. J. Walsh of Cloverville Road, Antigonish. Was in failing health for some months, Mrs. Walsh’s death occurred after only two days of acute suffering. Mrs. Wash, nee Elizabeth MacEachern, daughter of the late Captain Hugh MacEachern and Elizabeth Murphy, was born at Sheet Harbor, Halifax County. After the death of his wife, when Elizabeth was still a child, Captain MacEachern abandoned his sea-faring career and settled at Cape George, where he devoted the remainder of his life to the upbringing of his children. Thus it was that Elizabeth was sent to Mount St. Bernard for her education. Mrs. Walsh is survived by one brother, John M. MacEachern, Cape George and twelve children: Martin, Katherine, and Evelyn of Boston; Mary of Edmonton; John and Martina (Sister St. Elizabeth of Charity) of New York; Albert and Bertha of Montreal; Beatrice of Washington, D.C. and James, Bernard and Eugene of Antigonish, Two children died in infancy. Buried at St. Ninians.
