John Michael Wells, 71, died at his home in Georgeville on May 20. He was a retired farmer and was born in Goldenville, Guysborough County. Funeral Services were held in St. George’s Church and burial was in the parish cemetery. Surviving are his wife, the former Catherine Isabelle Crewe, four daughters, Catherine (Mrs. Ronald MacDonald) and Rose Ann (Mrs. David R. DeWolfe), of Antigonish; Sadie (Mrs Ray Stewart), North Lochaber; and Theresa Clare, at home; two sons, John Michael, Morar, and Leonard William, at home 10 grandchildren; and brother Francis Joseph.
